Morning Fitness

Morning Fitness is a Co-Curricular activity that starts our students' days.

We provide a supervised morning fitness session between 8.00am and 8.30am that encourages all students to participate in a range of physical activities.

MakerSpace Club

The Maker Space Club runs twice a week for Years Three to Six and gives students the opportunity to be challenged and creative using a range of hands on activities.

Runners Club

All students are encouraged to join our 100 Club which aims to have students run 100km.

Swimming Club

The swimming club practises under coached supervision at the South West Recreation Centre.

After School Netball

Our school netball teams are coached after school and participate in the local netball carnivals.

Environmental Club

Saint Joseph’s prides itself in being a supporter of a range of environmental initiatives. Students play an active role in running our environmental programs

After School Drama Club

Off the Vine Drama Club runs one day each week after school.

Junior and Senior Choir

We believe that to develop the whole child it is imperative to broaden their educational outlook by including a wide variety of activities and experiences. At St Joseph's, as well as the usual classroom lessons, students have many opportunities in specialist areas.

Programmes in these areas are developed, delivered and evaluated by specialist teaching staff.


Each year Saint Joseph's Primary holds its own Anzac Commemoration. Student leaders also participate in the community march and commemoration.

Sacramental Program

The school has a sacramental program. The program includes the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation which completes the initiation of a young person into the People of God.

Book week

An exciting time for students and staff to get dressed up and promote the love of reading.

Mothers' and Fathers' Day

A time to get together for breakfast at school and celebrate the importance of being a parent.


Every year level participates in the running of a school assembly. A great opportunity for students to use microphones, perform, act and showcase their talents. Parents and relatives are always encouraged to attend.

Learning journey

Near the end of term three parents are invited to attend our Learning Journey which provides an opportunity for students to showcase their work in their learning environment.


Each year level has the opportunity to go on an excursion throughout the year. Students get to visit museums, farms and other interesting locations.

Year Six Camp

The Year Six students attend a four-day camp each year. A great opportunity for students to take on new challenges and experiences.

Year Six Graduation

A special night for our Year Six students and their parents.

Year Six Retreat

A day of reflection and an opportunity to bond as a group.

Awards and Concert Evening

This is a night of celebration and a show case of talent and achievement.

Fun run

Our Fun Run is a great way for all of the school community to get together and raise funds whilst having a lot of fun.


The P&F run a disco at school to cater for both junior and senior students. A great fun event with a professional DJ and lots of dancing.

Movie night

The Student Council run a movie night with food, drinks and a chance to wear your PJ’s.

Saint Joseph’s Got Talent

A yearly opportunity for students to reveal their talents to the whole school.

Free Dress Days

We have free dress days throughout the year to help raise funds to support local church charities.
