Today is National Simultaneous Storytime- ‘Bowerbird Blues’.
Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country.

Aura Parker is an award-winning illustrator, writer and designer. Her picture books are joyful with a playful sense of humour, brimming with details to explore.

Some classes across the school listened to the story live steam or a hard copy read aloud by their teacher. Fabulous poems in middle primary and discussions about verbs, nouns, theme, prepositions and adjectives to display on blue birds.
